Here's the temperature this morning at 7:35. 3.1 degrees below zero. It's supposed to be even colder tomorrow. And of course, tomorrow is Scott's knee surgery. Sandi is spending the night tonight so that she can stay with the boys while we are at the hospital tomorrow. Thursday is Reed's playdate with a neighbor girl, so he doesn't have to be anywhere in the morning. Most likely school will be cancelled due to the cold weather, so Matthew and Reed will stay home with Sandi.
Sandi arrived bearing gifts - some spice cake and frozen "No Name" steaks. Scott defrosted them a bit, then cooked them up on the George Foreman grill that he got for Christmas. They were yummy!
Scott just put a coat of paint on Matthew's pinewood derby car (the derby is Friday night). Now we're watching American Idol and passing time until it's time to go to bed. We have to be at the hospital at 6 am, so it will be an early morning for us.
