Grandma and Grandpa J left this morning to drive back home to CT. Got a call from Mom about 5 minutes after they left to tell me that gas prices had gone up over 15 cents overnight (to $1.83). Got another call 5 minutes after that one telling me that they left the gas cap off when they stopped to get gas. At this rate, it was looking like it was going to be a long day.
Scott left around 1 to go to a Badgers hockey game with Ken, Rick, and Steve. Good thing they're staying the night because it's sleeting out right now. Looks messy.
The boys played outside, and went sledding (without sleds). It's so slick that they can just slide down on their snow pants. When they came in, Reed said "This is the best day of my life". That was after he came in crying twice because Matthew 1) pulled his mitten off, and 2) called him a name. Wish my memory was that short..
We went to Culver's for dinner. I had gumbo (instead of a greasy burger) as part of a plan to eat more healthy foods this year. We'll see how long that lasts.
Got a call from mom at 7:30 - they were snug in their hotel just outside of Cleveland.
Now I'm going to join the boys in watching "Star Wars: Clone Wars" (new Christmas DVD).
Here's Grandma and Grandpa as they are getting ready to leave this morning.

Hey! I watched Clone Wars this weekend too!
